BarbersRide is back and more determined than ever to raise crucial funds

barbersride 2020

BarbersRide 2020 will be kicking off from 8-13th August, albeit in a socially distanced manner, for five days of epic craziness riding around England!

A group of barbering and bike-obsessed chums will congregate in the seaside town of Southport, the hometown of The Company of Master Barbers for the 4th annual BarbersRide.

In case you’re not clued up, BarbersRide was the brainchild of a group of passionate bike-loving barbers. Their shared passion for barbering and motorbikes was the catalyst to planning a 5-day UK road-trip adventure.

The BarbersRide 2020 mission

The group aims to raise as much funds and awareness as possible for a chosen charity whilst enjoying the unbeatable sense of camaraderie that a motorbiking road trip offers. Sure, the uncertainty and effects of lockdown have most certainly added unexpected challenges however there are wishes waiting and the BarbersRide team are more determined than ever to not let the children down.

Six of the very best barbershops across the country; The Company of Master Barbers, Southport; 6 Hub Barber Shop, Llaneli; Bond’s Gentlemen’s Barbershop, Bournemouth; The Heartbreak Club, Leigh-on-Sea; Christian Wiles Gentleman’s Grooming, Northampton and Gilly’s Barbers, Baildon have committed to organising fundraising activities to support the cause.

Having raised in excess of £39,000 over the past three years for charities including London’s Great Ormond Street, Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool and MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION, the BarbersRide gang are now focussed on smashing their fundraising targets for 2020!

Once again, by popular demand from participants, they will be fundraising for MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION. This is a national charitable organisation who grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
