Award-winning Mike Taylor Education Announces Exciting Collaboration with Gould Barbers

Mike Taylor Education and Gould Barbers today announce an exciting new partnership with the launch of their first Barbering Training Academy, delivering high quality apprenticeship training. Mike Taylor Education, recently awarded the Modern Barber Award (MOBAA) for Best Training, already runs a successful barbering academy in Poole, Dorset delivering apprenticeship training as well as privately funded NVQ’s and short courses.

Gould Barbers is a fast growing barbershop chain in the UK through partnership with Tesco stores which began last year. Gould currently has nine barbershops located within Tesco stores, with more opening later this year. Based in Kings Lynn, Norfolk, the authentic barber academy will open in September, delivering apprenticeship training initially to Gould Barber employees, with plans to expand to offer private training courses and apprenticeship training to other learners in the future. Interserve Learning & Employment, the prime provider for the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), is supporting the partnership, providing additional skills and adding value to the apprenticeship delivery.
