Owner of Teddy Edwards brand, Alex has been involved with Matakki Scissors for a long while, cutting and presenting on stage for them. Alex decided he would give up his weekend of beers and mingling to instead join us at Barber Connect and offer his expert advice on the Barber Sessions. Nominated for a plethora of awards, including being shortlisted as a Modern Barber Awards finalist for best all round barber, Alex epitomises barbering excellence.

After 15 years in the corporate world Dan decided to follow his dream of becoming a barber. He is now 3 and a ½ years in and hasn’t looked back. Career highlights so far for him have been working at Black Lamour Barbers in Brighton, becoming an ambassador for The Lions Barber Collective, cutting hair for celebrities and working at Monster Energy events. He has a real passion for education and continuous learning and is looking forward to meeting you all at Barber Connect.

Jai-li Rayneau is a qualified hairdresser, completing her Level 3 Advanced qualification in barbering, currently working at ‘Hairjessers’ and ‘Doitfortheart Studio’ in Milton Keynes. Last year she was a finalist for the Modern Barber Raw Talent competition at Salon International.

Dan’s experience combined with his personal and tailored approach makes him one of the most sought after barbers in his industry today. For over 2 decades, his name has been featured in hundreds of publications across the world, he has been named GQ Magazines Best Barber in London for 4 years running, ES magazines Best Gentlemen's Hairdresser title. Dan has an impressive list of loyal clients ranging from City Executives to Hollywood stars & has a successful YouTube & TikTok channel Regal Gentleman.

Aaron has been cutting hair for 11 years and is the manager of Gould Barbers Horsham. Aaron has been on Good Morning Britain, BBC Radio Sussex and is proudly as Gamma/Stylecraft ambassador.

Presenting Ben pearcey, a 17 year old barber located in milton keynes. With only a year into the industry he has achieved many goals such as, Student raw talent winner, he has been featured in the modern barbers magazines. He has also been given the opportunity by Simon squibb to cut his hair at his event at Wembley box park. Ben also works alongside a fantastic team at NO.1 BARBERS

Introducing Lewis Sidney Gumbrell, widely known as Sid Da Barber, a 32-year-old barber hailing from Guildford Surrey, UK. As a dedicated barber educator at DNA Barbering and Education, Sid serves as an ambassador for renowned brands such as Kiepe Clippers, The Bluebeards Revenge, and Rude Capes. Located at Clean Cuts Barbershop in Surrey, he brings his expertise to the forefront, while also contributing a monthly barber column to Surrey Rocks Magazine and also being a judge for Goldenchair.

Charlie Venn is a seasoned barber with a decade of experience, owning Lucky Sevens Barbershop for 5 years. His Instagram reels, highlighting shop life, have garnered over 10M views and 50K followers in a year. He's won awards and collaborates with top brands like Uppercut Deluxe, Cape Gang, Barber Blades, and Matakki Scissors, establishing him as a respected figure in the barbering community.

Sam Campagna has 25 years of mastery in barbering and is a global educator for Matakki. Sam runs his own shop, specialising in short hair and pixie cuts. Honoured with an MK College Fellowship Award, he reshapes barbering education, aiming for inclusivity & innovation. Beyond the chair, Sam mentors individuals and businesses, shaping the future of the industry. Now, as the driving force behind Barbone, Sam's latest endeavour promises to revolutionise the industry with innovation and unparalleled style!

Originally from Spain, Brian made the leap to the UK to pursue his passion for barbering and carve a niche for himself in the industry. As a self-taught barber specialising in Afro hair, he has had the privilege of cutting the hair of footballers from Hull City, Liverpool, Manchester City amongst others. Brian praises his mentor in his journey, "Working alongside Rick Roberts has been instrumental in shaping my craft and vision."

Bethan has been cutting hair for over 15 years, primarily as a barber in Southampton. Bethan is an ambassador for Dark Stag and works with The Lions Barber Collective. An award-winning stylist with previous teams at Modern Barber, Bethan secured third place in the creative category on the Andis stage last year. Bethan is developing a workshop for trans, transmasc, and non-binary individuals to ease their barbershop experience with facial and cuts to suit them.

Tracy is a multi award winning barber based in Leeds. With over 30 years experience, Tracy began her career as a hairdresser but switched to barbering 20 years ago. Most recently winning British Master Barber 2023, Tracy has picked up 6 other awards along the way. On top of barbering, Tract also teaches level 3 barbering at Leeds City College and is an Ambassador for Gamma Plus.
