Barbersride Roars into 2022 With American Crew On Board
American Crew is delighted to announce that it will be supporting this year’s Barbersride 2022 as one of its Associate Sponsors. Taking place on 6 August, more than 40 barbers will take to their wheels to raise money for the Make-A-Wish charity.

Bonded by a love of barbering and motorbikes, UK’s Barbersride is an annual charity event incorporating a six-day ride around the UK. This year it will be travelling from Weston-super-Mare, via Cornwall, Devon, Southampton, Sussex and finishing up in Margate. During the 1200-mile trek, the barbers will enjoy the camaraderie of a road trip by day and inspiring barbering seminars in the evenings.

BarbersRide was started by a group of barbers that wanted to combine their love of biking and barbering with a fundraising charity event. In August 2017 the first event kicked off, from Dundee to London over five days and was a resounding success, raising over £10,000. Since then, every year has got bigger and better.

Now in its sixth year, the ride has raised £86,000 for charity to date. Today, the ride has become as much about the journey as the evenings spent getting up close and personal with some of the country’s best-known barbering names and sharing a passion for men’s hair.

Nick Biggane from American Crew, says: “We’re delighted to provide products and support for this great cause. Barbersride shows a real sense of team spirit and not only shines a spotlight on our fantastic British barbering network, but also raises funds for this special charity.”

Make-A-Wish helps grant wishes for sick children when they are most in need and bring positivity and happiness in times of distress. In 2021, BarbersRide raised more than £27,000 for the charity, one of the biggest single donations the charity received last year.

Barberside 2022 kicks off in Weston-super-Mare on 6 August 2022, concluding on 11 August in Margate. To get involved visit https://barbersride.com
