The Fellowship’s ClubStar Art Team attended a day-long workshop with Chris Foster at the HOB Academy in London. Chris covered the fundamentals of barbering including classic and advanced cuts, clipper over comb, razor cutting to blend and texturising. Chris, a regular at Salon International, also talked about how to position yourself in the industry and get the most out of performing at shows. “My biggest tip for the team is to have impact! Do something different to what everyone else will be doing. People will see a lot of presentations at Salon International, so they need to stand out.”
The day finished with the legendary Akin Konizi visiting for a photo opportunity, and team member Joe Stoker from Dare Hair Design, receiving a personalised haircut from Chris.
