Salon Supplies has opened its virtual furniture showroom for 2021, which allows visitors to take a virtual tour of what’s on offer from the UK hairdressing and barbering industry wholesaler.
Salon Supplies has experienced substantial growth in its furniture and online sales during 2020 and a spike in orders and interaction on its website and social channels so the team have been working hard behind the scenes to launch the virtual furniture showroom tour.
Salon Supplies said: “We want to support the hairdressing industry in the best way we can and as the first UK wholesaler to be launching an interactive multi-branded furniture showroom where you can walk through, measure and shop all from the comfort and safety of your own home. This means we can give access nationally, 24 hours a day and seven days week, so our customers can choose the time that works best for them.”
The 3,000 sq ft showroom was opened in 2019 in Southampton and the dedicated furniture department and trained experts help and advise customers on over 180 products on show that have been chosen by leading manufacturers, including: Karmisa, Pietranera, REM, Takara Belmont, WBX, GVS, Kiela, Insignia Plus, PJS, Aqua Flow, Crewe Orlando and now, new for 2021, Welonda.
Salon Supplies furniture manager Lee Hamilton said: “Our showroom in Southampton has been one of the biggest launches in terms of our salon furniture offering here at Salon Supplies with the ability to showcase all our major brands under one roof. Now with this new software innovation we can offer access to all our customers at home on any device throughout the UK, without them having to travel to us.’’
