Simon Shaw and the Wahl team recently visited Help for Heroes Phoenix House to give something back to those who have put their lives on the line for their country and who have served time both within the United Kingdom and overseas. Help’for Heroes is a charity close to the hearts of Simon and the Wahl team, and they decided it was time that heroes got some well deserved pampering, so headed down to give the Band of Brothers and Sisters some well deserved R&R.
Throughout their day at the recovery centre the team, consisting of Wahl European Artistic Director Simon Shaw, Chris Moon of KUTZ Barbers and Alison Scattergood, Lecturer at East Durham College. The team provided a day of haircuts and shaves to the veterans in order to give them a positive and friendly experience as well as a little relaxation. In total the team completed 30 cuts throughout the day, while chatting to the Heroes of our country. ‘I absolutely love spending time with everyone at the Help for Heroes Recovery centres.
