ANDIS Global Education Team And Ambassadors Took Centre Stage at Barber Connect

Barber Connect Headline Sponsor, Andis presented a mix of world-class tools, on-stage education, inspiring cutting demonstrations, and its highly coveted Battle Royale competition to inspire, engage, educate and inform thousands of visitors who flocked to the Telford International Centre.

On-stage, stars from the Andis Global Education Team and brand ambassadors - including Hayden Cassidy, Jarred Liddington, Kevin Vorley, Baldy, Sid Sottung, Lynddy Rolfe and Wez Jones – presented panel presentations to give visitors a fresh perspective. Moderated by Angie Perino, Andis Senior Manager, Global Education & Events, topics from career progression and social media marketing to managing client relationships and achieving the perfect work-life balance were discussed as well as the latest trends and innovations.

Along with a Barber Editorial Mastery presentation by Sid Sottung, which focused on how to create stunning collections on any budget, barbers competed in Andis’s exclusive Battle Royale. Barbers competed in two categories: Creative Freestyle Barbering and Rookie Freestyle Barbering to win the coveted titles along with a range of prizes including Andis Tools, and the opportunity to be featured across Andis’ social media channels.

On Monday the stage saw a focus on all career stages and paths. The Barber’s Blueprint invited a panel to discuss how rookie barbers and students can accelerate their career path. Meanwhile, The Foundations of Andis Barbering, discussed unlocking the art of precision barbering. There was a strong presence at the Andis booth, managed by Andis’s UK distributor Styling Products UK. Visitors got to experience the world-class quality of Andis tools - from the iconic Master Cordless and T-Outliner, to its latest innovations including the Galaxy range, reSURGE shaver, reVITE clipper and beSPOKE trimmer. Andis also took the opportunity to introduce a world-first innovation with M-Force magnetic blade technology and the soon-to-be-launched Black Label GTX-EXO trimmer, which features this groundbreaking new tech. Angie Perino commented: “Barber Connect is a major event in our global calendar.
