On Sunday 18 May 2025, The People's Choice Barber competition made its debut at Barber Connect in Birmingham.
In Round 1, barbers were invited to enter online by sharing a photo of their best classic cut. The finalists were then selected through a public vote, and invited to compete in Round 2 live at the show.
This year's finalists were:

- Donal O'Leary
- George Healey

- Marcus Lewis Roper
- Rhys Hillman
- Väino Ostra
- Alexandru Cojocaru
Live at The NEC, each finalist was asked to recreate their entry in front of the judges, Danny Robinson, Cosmin Gradinaru and Josh Lamonaca.
Winner of The People's Choice Barber 2025
Announcing the winner, the judges scores revealed a tie between George Healey and Väino Ostra, who then had a further two minutes to perfect their looks for the judges to decide the final winner.
A huge congratulations to Väino Ostra! In addition to being presented with an impressive trophy, Väino received a prize of £500 cash.
