Got time? Got expertise? Got products? LGFB need YOU! Have you got time or products to donate to a fabulous charity? Look Good Feel Better (LGFB), a support charity set up in 1994 to help women combat the visible side effects of their cancer treatment, is reaching out to the barber community to help them support men in the same predicament. They are looking for:

  1. Volunteer barbers. Help teach the grooming and shaving component of LGFB's new 'Skin Fitness' workshops, which in addition to skincare, will offer advice on shaving, skin preparation, hair fibre products and thinning hair to men undergoing cancer treatment.

  2. Product donations: Karen at Byron Barbershop (a volunteer for the workshop at the King George Hospital in Ilford on 12th March) is collecting donations of hair loss products, shaving products and anything else that will make the guys feel better. Attendees will go home with a gift bag containing face wash, face scrub, shaving foam/gel, aftershave balm, moisturiser, face SPF, body SPF, lipbalm, BioOil and fragrance. The address to send product donations to is Byron Barbershop, 3a Broadway Market, Fencepiece Road, Barkingside, Ilford, Essex IG6 2JT.
