Modern Barber Acquires Barber Connect

Modern Barber is delighted to announce its acquisition of Europe’s largest barber exhibition, Barber Connect. Joining the group that is responsible for the leading events and media across barbering, hair and beauty, including Salon International and Hairdressers Journal International, Barber Connect will be organised by the Modern Barber/Hairdressers Journal International team with support from the founders at Barber Blades, Matthew Brice and Dan Moore.
"This acquisition reaffirms our commitment to bringing the best event in class to the barbering community. Matt and Dan have done an excellent job and with their ongoing support we want to build on their success to make Barber Connect a truly national and over time, international event," said Mark Moloney, managing director of Modern Barber and HJ.
Matt Brice commented, “We believe the time is right to amplify the growth and development of Barber Connect and as part of the Modern Barber portfolio it will allow the event to grow in size and stature whilst staying true to its mission of informing and inspiring barbers, and allowing the community to connect with the brands that operate in this professional space.”
Plans for 2024 are underway for Barber Connect 2024 which will be back at the Telford International Centre on Sunday 23rd and Monday 24th June.
