Joe Vipond's Men's Hair Trends for 2023
Men’s hairstylist, Joe Vipond, owner of Joe Vipond Gentlemen’s Grooming, has predicted what he thinks the biggest men’s hair trends for 2023 will be.

From quiffs to textured crops, Joe looks to the increasing spirit of individuality that is taking hold across the barbering landscape to make his predictions. "In the wake of the pandemic, men are increasingly embracing their natural hair, whether that be in the form of natural waves and curls or a more low-maintenance aesthetic. This trend towards self expression and authenticity is not only refreshing, but also a sign of the times as men are becoming more comfortable in their own skin."

Gradual Fade

The gradual fade is still a popular choice for clients, especially due to it being a versatile cut that can be tailored to any face shape and hair type.

Quiff

The quiff is timeless and stylish, for the sophisticated man of all ages and professions. It's a great opportunity for barbers to experiment by adding more shape and volume to their client's hair too.

Skin Fade

The skin fade isn't going anywhere soon. For clients it is the epitome of precision grooming and a modern take on a classic hairstyle.

Loose Curtains

Clients have been embracing their natural curls in recent years and coming into the barbershop for a more groomed look. Loose curtains are effortlessly stylish and easy-going, adding a touch of character to any appearance.
