art.quarter is excited to announce the launch of art.barbers – the first element of the project which will launch on Friday 16 October.

art.barbers will provide at least ten new jobs, as well as offering affordable, luxury barbering to men in Birmingham.

art.barbers is the first official UK partner of online booking app, Booksy and they are exclusively partnered with American Crew.

art.quarter’s founder Jordan Patel says: “It’s great to be able to offer a beacon of hope in these extremely trying times for the city. Coronavirus has had such a massive impact on the high-street, so to be in a position to open a business in this time and provide both employment and training to this number of people in the process, is a real blessing.”

Megan Mackie, Marketing Manager for Booksy adds: “Booksy are proud to partner with art.barbers. The overall client experience is now more important than ever, from seamless multi-channel booking, right through to post-appointment engagement, every step can set a business apart from the rest. Now when a visit out of the house is a much more considered trip, our users are looking for every opportunity to enjoy themselves, safely. It’s now crucial for clients to be able to immerse themselves in a stylish, unique environment, as well as being confident that the venue has their safety in mind with plenty of COVID-19 precautions in place, meaning both clients and barbers will have true peace of mind knowing they have taken every precaution to make safety a priority.”

Ian Tucker, American Crew’s National Education Manager for the UK and Ireland says: “We are thrilled to be working with the art.quarter barbershop within the pioneering multicultural lifestyle complex in Birmingham. With over 25 years as leaders in the male grooming industry we are excited to offer the art.quarter barbers and their customers products they can trust created specifically for men. They can count on us for the latest and best in hair, body, shave and style, while boosting confidence when delivering a professional service including how to manage their home care routine and produce the latest trends and styles on the shop floor.”
