Artist Spotlight Stage at Salon International 2023

Hosted by professional stylist and haircare expert, Chlöe Swift, the Artist Spotlight Stage featured some of the hottest new talent and industry trailblazers. Brand-new for 2023, there were a whole host of incredible looks created throughout the pods.
It was great to see such a strong wealth of barbering talent across the stage, where visitors could get even closer, bordering the cutting pods and examining the process of crafting different styles. Passersby saw Natalie Cresswell executing a flawless fade and a sharp beard trim, while James Parr used intricate scissor work to recreate a progressive, 'hipster' cut from his men's collection, released this year. "The backstory behind the collection was hipster kids living in South East London, not knowing how they're going to escape the lifestyle they were born into. The aim of the collection was to make it very raw and very aggressive."
Meanwhile, Sid Da Barber set to work cutting a mid skin-fade, keeping the look shorter at the back and completing the style with a quiff, and Roots & Co director Vijay Lakhatariya made light work of an ultra-clean fade.
