Scrummi, the B-Corporation certified salon and spa towel company, are delighted to announce the appointment of their new Creative Director, Ky Wilson.

As one of the leading sustainable towel providers to the hair and beauty industry, Scrummi prides itself on working with inspirational, passionate individuals who are accountable in their actions and embrace the Scrummi core values.

In his new role as Creative Director, Ky will work closely with the Scrummi team to deliver educational content and continue to drive Scrummi’s core messaging around sustainability and liberating the planet from laundry to make the world a better place.

Rob Cooper at Scrummi commented: “We’re looking forward to working closely with Ky – for us he represents everything that Scrummi stands for and we are so excited to work with him on our educational content and emphasise the importance of sustainable practices within the hair and beauty industry. As a long-time customer of Scrummi, Ky shares our core values and our commitment to sustainability. We remain passionate about liberating the planet from laundry and believe our partnership with Ky will firmly enhance our core message.”

Ky Wilson, Creative Director for Scrummi, added: “Becoming the Creative Director for Scrummi is definitely up there as a career highlight for me. I am excited to start working closer with this brand, which I’ve used and loved for over 10 years. I am looking forward to having a direct effect on how Scrummi will develop. Together we will not only be helping hairdressers and their salon businesses grow, but also work towards dramatically reducing the negative impact our industry has on the planet. The Scrummi towel itself is the best of its kind. I know this through personal continuous research, having tried similar product lines. I’m always on the hunt to improve my service for myself, my clients and the freelancers within our community at The Social.”

Scrummi has also launched a new recycling scheme – more on that here.
