On Monday 25 November 2024 the winners of the British Hairdressing Awards, sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional, were crowned in a glittering celebration at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London on London's Park Lane. Along with British Hairdresser of the Year, the awards also celebrated 10 regional categories and seven specialist categories, including Men's Hairdresser of the Year.
Hosted by Rylan Clarke, Hairdressers Journal International Executive Director Jayne Lewis-Orr, Schwarzkopf Professional General Manager UK and Ireland Julian Crane and Hairdressers Journal International Editor Charlotte Grant-West and Deputy Editor Sian Jones, the evening saw the 1400-strong audience entertained and inspired with a variety of entertainment, as well as a celebration of the awards' 40th year anniversary.
There was an impressive show from sponsors Schwarzkopf Professional's Global Ambassador Tyler Johnston, a moving tribute to Trevor Sorbie, as well as the eight British Hairdresser of the Year nominees, plus a performance by Pixie Lott.
But the audience were there for one thing, and one thing only – to find out who won...
British Hairdressing Awards Men's Hairdresser of the Year 2024
Kevin Luchmun, from Luchmun Studios, was crowned Men’s Hairdresser of the Year at the BHA24. Accepting his award on stage, Kevin told the audience: "I'm feeling great because there's so much creativity in this room. Massive love to all the finalists for Men's Hairdresser of the Year; I'm here to support all of the barbers and men's hairdressers in this room. Started from the bottom now we're here!"
