We’ve already taken a look at the leading men’s hair trends for 2025, as seen at LFW (FYI, it’s all about laid-back, lived-in styles) but now it’s time to turn our attention to the beard and facial hair trends that are set to dominate in 2025, according to three men’s grooming experts…
Effortless Finish
Pete Burkill, who’s worked with the likes of David Beckham and Jack Harlow, says:
“For 2025, I’m definitely seeing a shift in facial hair trends towards a more effortless, natural look. The sharp contrast between clean-shaven and long, structured beards is fading, with more people embracing a softer, more lived-in style. Stubble is making a strong comeback, with edges looking less defined and more blended into the face for a relaxed feel. It’s all about that middle ground, facial hair that feels natural yet still groomed, without looking overly manicured.”
The Corporate Beard
Jim Shaw, Mens Hair Educator and owner of TONI&GUY Billericay, says:
“The Corporate Beard started increasing in popularity towards the end of 2024, so we know it will be a huge hit for 2025. The corporate beard is perfect for anyone wanting to make a statement – the style is very angular and exudes authority and power, with the beard being balanced on each side of the face to avoid any hairs being out of place.”
Faded Beards feat. Goatees
Donal O'Leary, owner of Radius-Solis, says:
“Thanks to the likes of actor Pedro Pascal and footballer Pedro Neto, I think that faded beards with prominent moustaches and goatees will be hot in 2025. This look has a slimming silhouette from the front and sides, as the style exposes the jawbone yet elongates men’s faces as there is length towards the front. The separating contrast of stubble to longer, more dense hair is very flattering for faces of most shapes and is a modern twist on a staple, traditional ‘anchor’ or ‘van dyke’ style of moustache and beard.”
