Devon Salon Hosts Charity Football Match

Marley Mayer Salon recently hosted a charity football match to raise money for Pete’s Dragons, a charity dedicated to supporting men’s mental health. Taking place on 28 April at the Lympstone Football Pitch at CTCRM, Marley Mayer, founder and CEO of the Devon-based salon, shared: “As a brand, we contribute to men looking good, but we also understand how you feel is important too. We wanted to raise awareness for men’s mental health. It's a significant issue for us because I've experienced poor mental health myself, and Dan, our senior barber, lost one of his best mates. We really support this charity.”

The event was a huge success, with over 180 people attending the event, including two teams of 16 players. Each team even had mascots to walk out onto the pitch with.

Following the event, the salon shared: “The players, supporters, local businesses made this event that extra special! The total raised for Pete’s Dragons was £1,400, so we smashed our target.”
