Jonathan Bailey's Hair - Everything You Need to Know

Published 05th Feb 2025

Following his success in Bridgerton and Wicked, Jonathan Bailey has started to grow in both prominence and popularity, and with the upcoming release of Jurassic World Rebirth, his status is only set to flourish. While we’re certainly fans of his acting talents, we decided to take a closer look at Jonathan Bailey’s hair, and discuss his position as a trendsetter for 2025…

When Jonathan Bailey first appeared in Bridgerton, his character fully embodied the style of the Regency era, complete with dense sideburns and a textured, voluminous fringe. However, when his character took on the mantle of leading man in the second series of the Netflix show, ‘Anthony’ underwent a style transformation with a more refined grooming regimen. Meanwhile, away from set, Jonathan looks a little different.

Discussing the actor’s style, Jonathan Andrew, Fudge Professional Global Ambassador, tells us: “I think Jonathan Bailey will have significant influence on men’s hair trends in 2025. His style represents a softer yet smarter approach to longer hair, which has been particularly prominent on red carpets and in films."

Jenna Husbands, co-owner of Mosu, agrees, sharing: "Jonathan’s hair and beard work together in perfect harmony, creating a look that’s effortlessly suave and ruggedly refined. His current hairstyle is giving off that just-right mix of polished and carefree. With his high-profile presence and natural charisma, he’s perfectly positioned to set the tone for hair trends in 2025."

Andrew believes that Jonathan’s current style is reminiscent of the old-school Ryan Reynolds days, showcasing what can be described as ‘film star hair’. Discussing the clients this style would work well for, Jenna adds: “It works especially well for those with naturally thick hair who can embrace texture, while the well-groomed beard adds an edge that complements strong facial features, making it a great choice for those who want to enhance their natural structure.”

To get the look, Andrew says: “Keep some length on the back and sides while adding texture on the top to create volume and lift. Keeping the sides and back slightly tighter while maintaining length allows for a gradual transition from short to long, enhancing the overall shape. This style can also work for rounder face shapes, as you can create a chiselled and defined appearance. For clientele with rounder face shapes, it’s crucial to taper the hair at the bottom and elongate it toward the sides to create a more balanced appearance. This is a trend that’s here to stay, offering timeless appeal and versatility.”
