Green Salon Collective Launches All-Natural Biocide

Published 25th Jul 2023 by Josie Jackson
Green Salon Collective has launched a biodegradable cleaning product set to shake up barbershop hygiene. On Nature’s Side is a highly effective biocide formulated entirely from natural ingredients. Effective against 99.995% of known micro-organisms – including influenzas, e-coli, c-difficile, MRSA, and Norovirus – it’s also gentle on the skin, meaning it can be used safely on all barbershop tools, combs, scissors, surfaces, floors and seating without any adverse effects or harsh chemicals which may affect
clients.

Unlike traditional barbershop cleaning products, On Nature’s Side isn’t harmful to aquatic life; it’s rated as non-hazardous by the EU, even as an aerosol, and is completely non-toxic, natural, and free from harmful chemicals including alcohol, parabens, and dyes. The biocide deodorises too, so your barbershop will be left smelling naturally fresh and clean, without risk to your own health – or that of our planet. On Nature’s Side is packaged in a reusable, 500ml plastic bottle made from recycled plastic that can be returned to the Green Salon Collective for refill via a Carbon Offset transportation system. Plus, for every bottle sold, four plastic bottles are removed from the ocean.

Green Salon Collective founder, Fry Taylor, says: “On Nature's Side is a new direction for Green Salon Collective; we normally recycle other companies' products so to be making our own is super exciting. The fact that we've already had over 400 units pre-sold before it is even launched says everything you need to know – stylists want high-performance products derived from nature
(and not chemicals) and this product is, in every sense, On Nature's Side."
